Rita Ora says will.i.am is "a genius".
The British singer collaborated with the Black Eyed Peas star on her debut album Ora, which is set to be released at the end of August. The 21-year-old beauty enjoyed working with will.i.am and was impressed by the way he multi-tasks.
"Working with will.i.am was just so much fun. He's like a genius," Rita explained to BBC Radio One Newsbeat. "He has ten things going on at once in his head and somehow he makes it all work."
The rising star feels privileged to have worked with other musical talents including Drake and Coldplay's Chris Martin in the production of her album. She shares a special bond with all the artists who have helped influence her music since she was first discovered by rap superstar Jay-Z.
"I got signed to Jay Z's label when I was 18. I couldn't believe someone that big was backing me and now he's like my family," Rita explained. "Drake was incredible, I collaborated with him right at the beginning so he's got a special place. Chris Martin putting me on his tour was the greatest. I've had such amazing support behind me that I hope I'll make them proud."
