Robin Gibb has spoken about his will to live after his recent brush with death after spending ten days in a coma after a bout of pneumonia.
Speaking to wife Dwina from his hospital bed, he told his partner that when asked if he wanted doctors to work to save him - or let him die when 'enough was enough', the Bee Gees star chose life.
"The doctors asked Robin if he wanted them to do everything in their power to save his life - or if he felt the time would come when enough was enough," Dwina said in an interview with The Sun newspaper.
"He told them, 'There will never be a time when enough is enough. I want to live no matter what.'"
Robin Gibb woke from his coma last weekend after his family played him music while he was unconscious. When he woke however, he asked for silence. He was given just 10% chance of survival by doctors, but stunned health professionals with his recovery.
