According to South Florida celebrity news website Gossip Extra, the couple paid about the same price that they're now asking – in cash – in 2008.
The palatial 20,000sq ft property, which was built in 2001, features soaring 12ft- and 24ft-high ceilings and stands on a quiet, tree-lined cul-de-sac in Miami's prestigious Ponce Davis area.
The luxury home is listed on real estate website Trulia, and is described as having a 'timeless floor plan”, 'breathtaking foyer”, and “state-of-the-art sound system throughout the house”.
It also boasts a huge gourmet kitchen, marble floors, an office, and maid's quarters, as well as elegant family rooms and both formal and casual dining spaces.
Gibb is understood to have placed the two-storey home, which also has a three-car garage and a 'resort-style' pool and patio, on the market 90 days ago.
