The alarms that have been set off over Robin Gibb's health seem to be quite real.
The Bee Gee is in the hospital being treated for pneumonia where, according to reports, his brother Barry and Barry's son Stephen flew from the U.S. to his bedside in a private hospital. Gibb had entered the hospital last month for intestinal surgery.
On Tuesday, Robin's Titanic Requiem, his first classical composition, written with his son Robin John, made it's debut at Royal Albert Hall in London. Robin had been scheduled to also perform a new song, Don't Cry Alone, at the event but was too ill to attend.
Robin John took the stage before the concert to read a statement from his father. "He sends all his love. We are all praying for him and hoping he has a speedy recovery."
This morning on the BBC Robin John said that his father is still in hospital recovering but fragile.
Brother Barry also was supposed to be at the concert but did not attend.
