Robin Thicke's dad is all about "old Hollywood" glamour.
The 36-year-old star is the son of Growing Pains actor Alan Thicke, who is known as somewhat of a silver fox.
Having a good-looking father means Robin feels a little more relaxed about ageing.
"My dad is like old Hollywood, always tan, good head of hair. Exactly, I will grow up OK!" he joked to Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O.
Robin is currently experiencing huge chart success with hit Blurred Lines, which also features T.I. and Pharrell.
The musician previously had success on a smaller scale with songs such as Lost Without You, which have always been popular with other artists.
Whereas Blurred Lines is massive, not everyone was initially convinced.
"It is, especially when you're not selling any records, it's what gets you by!" he laughed, when asked if it was nice to know other stars listen to his songs.
"The craziest thing is, [Blurred Lines] keeps growing on the iTunes charts. I was told it's gone number one in 52 countries. I made the song last summer with Pharrell and I made a couple with will.i.am and went to my record company. The problem was, they had always believed in me but they liked my other music and they didn't know if it would be a hit and then my manager said, 'I really believe in this,' but they didn't quite get it. It's so different, where is it gonna play?"
