will.i.am "isn't the easiest guy to get along with", jokes Robin Thicke.
The singer-songwriter is currently enjoying international success with his song Blurred Lines, which he wrote with Pharrell Williams.
For his next single Give It 2 U, Robin teamed up with the Black Eyed Peas musician to pen the lyrics.
"The new single is with Kendrick Lamar, he's an amazing talent. I wrote it with will.i.am and now I feel I have a little momentum in my career. will.i.am isn't the easiest guy to get along with in certain respects. He's very eccentric," Robin joked to BBC Radio 1. "I love that he's turned into the UK national treasure. He's a super talent."
Robin has been involved in the industry since he was a teenager and always had a passion for music. His success with Blurred Lines, which became a worldwide hit, has resulted in his career exploding. He joked he's still basking in the glory of the single, and will do so for some time yet.
"I started when I was 12 years old I've had some success in the States but never had any breakthrough internationally. I just make music that I feel and I love. When this happened [Blurred Lines] I felt overwhelmed and it's given me the confidence to go back into studio. It's like 'They love me, they finally love me'," he laughed.
"I don't feel any pressure for the next single to do as well. I can be terrible for at least another year now."
