Ronnie Wood has reportedly been overheard discussing plans to work on material with his Rolling Stones bandmates next week.
The guitarist has sparked new rumours that the British group will soon be releasing new music. Ronnie was having a coffee with friends at E&E in New York City during the intermission of Broadway musical The Book of Mormon when he made the comments.
According to the New York Post, the rocker said he was going to meet up with Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to "play around with some ideas in the studio next week".
Ronnie recently said the legendary band was planning to return to the recording studio. However, at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony he claimed he was only interested in working on his own music.
Bandmate Keith has also fuelled rumours about the Rolling Stones.
Last month he revealed the group have been practising together again and could soon start laying down new tracks.
"We'll just get the boys back together again then and maybe cut a side," Keith was quoted as saying by British newspaper The Mirror. "We're planning to get things going... again."
