The Rolling Stones rocker – who went through a public break-up with 21-year-old Russian model Ekaterina Ivanova last year – hasn't touched alcohol or drugs for the past two months and is so keen to stay off them he has been attending daily support groups.
He told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I've done 60 days of clean and serene and I can't see any way of stopping. I'm doing 90 meetings in 90 days. I do a meeting every day.
"It's a hell of a thing. I go from Surrey all over London - I just go to Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous and just keep it going."
Wood credits members from his other band The Faces with helping him to stay sober and overcome his three-decade addiction to drink and drugs.
Speaking of his bandmates he said: "Glen is on the AA and NA programme as well and is a really good support. And Kenney's been great, and Mac and Mick."
Friends of the 62-year-old star also believe his relationship with new girlfriend Ana Araujo has been a calming influence and have even predicted the pair will marry "as early as this summer".
A source said recently: "Ronnie thinks Ana could be the woman to make a life with. She's such a positive influence on him and they've very relaxed in each other's company. They're happy enjoying the simple things in life like staying in, making meals and watching films."
