Rolling Stone guitarist and Absolute Radio DJ Ronnie Wood has revealed one of the biggest regrets of his musical careers – not playing at Woodstock. He was with the Jeff Beck Group who split up just two weeks before the legendary festival took place, and they'd been scheduled to play there.
Proving his credentials as one of the best guitar players in the world, Ronnie also revealed that when he first joined The Rolling Stones he had to "learn 140 songs in a couple of weeks" and said he knew more about the band's music than they did!
He also reminisced about the days of partying all night at a club called The Flamingo in London with "everybody popping the pills to keep them up, you know, the black bombers and the purple hearts, and everybody was like 'Hey, big eyes"
