The 44-year-old Mexican actress revealed that she has missed out on roles because of her nationality, but said that she pities people who think like that more than anything.
She told The Sunday Times, 'I've always been a little bit different. It's never hurt me. It makes me feel a little bit embarrassed for the person - like, 'Whoah, you're stupid'.
'But yes, a lot of times I didn't get movies because of my accent or because I'm Mexican. Many times the idiots are in power. What are you going to do?'
