Salma Hayek said daughter Valentina acts like an adult

The 45-year-old star appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman and revealed her daughter had come with her to the studio.

Hayek said: 'She's here but she said: 'If you're going to talk about me, you have to run the stories by me first. You cannot just go on national television and say whatever you want about me if you're angry or something.'

'She's four, really, I'm not kidding, she actually said that!'

Hayek said Valentina also likes her hair to be done properly and won't keep quiet about it if it's wrong.

She added: 'My hairdresser, I have one of the best in the world, Robert Vetica. He was doing her hair and she's like: 'What's this? I look like a sheep!' I'm like: 'Like what?'

'[She goes] 'Like a sheep! Baaa!' She corrects my English now. She goes: 'I look like a Dr Seuss character.' And this is like one of the best hairdressers in the world. She's four.'
