Actress Scarlett Johansson will release a somewhat unusual album in May. It will be a tribute album to Tom Waits.
'Anywhere I Lay My Head' features 10 Waits songs with an impressive array of guest stars.
David Bowie sings vocals with Scarlett on two tracks. The album also features members of TV On The Radio, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Celebration.
The title track is from Waits 1985 album 'Rain Dogs'.
Bowie sings on 'Falling Down' (originally from 1988's 'Big Time') and 'Fannin Street' (originally from Waits' recent Orphans, Brawlers, Bawlers & Bastards').
Waits has written the new song, 'Song For Jo', for Johansson's album.
'Anywhere I Lay My Head' will be released on Atco through Warner in May.
