BT London Live is proud to announce pop three-piece Scouting For Girls will be performing in Hyde Park on 29 July as part of London's biggest FREE celebration of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The band will perform on Hyde Park's main stage, in-between broadcasts on giant screens showing the best of the days sporting action, courtesy of the BBC. Olympic sporting events on 29 July will include: Beach Volleyball, Boxing, Basketball and Diving.
Scouting For Girls are one of the biggest pop bands in the world with over two million record sales, 4 Brit Award Nominations, 1 Ivor Novello nomination, and 4 Top 10 singles. The British pop band release their third studio album 'The Light Between Us' on 3 September 2012, preceded by first single 'Summertime In The City' on 26 August 2012.
BT London Live Hyde Park and Victoria Park has something for everyone, from live music to watching the 100 metres final on a 160m2 screen, the 55m high BTObservation Wheel in Victoria Park giving views of the Olympic Park, have-a-go sports, plus al-fresco Sports Bars and much more. A great line up of artists has already been announced for Hyde Park, it includes: Tom Jones, McFly, The Feeling, Feeder, Dodgy, The Levellers, Cast, Amy Macdonald, PaulCarrack Kenny Thomas and the cast of 'We Will Rock You'.
The BT Vision Stage will also include live daily performances at 4pm from artists such as Conor Maynard, The Noisettes, Tinchy Stryder, Aiden Grimshaw, Jodie Marie, Dot Rotten, Stooshe, Spector, Roots Manuva, Dry the River, King Charles, Josh Osho, Alex Clare, Lucy Rose and Benjamin Francis Leftwich.
