Selena Gomez has been forced to cancel an online event due to illness.
The pop star apologised to fans for not taking part in a live Twitter chat because she was feeling unwell.
The 20-year-old said sorry to over 15 million followers via the micro-blogging website for not knowing why she was under the weather.
"Sorry to everyone for having to cancel today," she wrote. "I am not sure if I am sick or ate some bad food but, I feel horrible."
Selena is currently in the UK promoting her new music but planned to connect with fans across the world through the website.
She is trying to recover by relaxing for the remainder of Wednesday.
"I am going to take the rest of the day and try and get better for tomorrow," she continued. "So Sorry :( Love you guys (sic)."
The Come And Get It singer has been busy travelling the globe recently and made an appearance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.
There she hung out with friend Taylor Swift and bumped into her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
During an interview with BBC Radio 1 the Spring Breakers actress commented that she is trying to do what brings her joy.
"Acting has always been my priority. And if I am not pushing myself I'm not growing," she said about her more mature movie.
"I was aching for something that would be creative and artsy."
Despite her success she is aware that she will constantly be criticised.
Selena is adamant about doing what makes her content no matter what people think.
"The bigger you get the more people are going to try and bring you down," she insisted. "I'm just trying to do what makes me happy."
