Pop star Selena Gomez is "beyond done" talking about her ex Justin Bieber.
The 23-year-old's on-off relationship with the Canadian singer has been hitting headlines since December, 2010, and rumours suggesting the pair had rekindled the romance swirled in November (15), after Justin, 21, was videoed singing My Girl to Selena in a Los Angeles bar.
However, in a new interview with Rolling Stone, Selena nipped any talk of a reconciliation in the bud.
"Well, I am sorry, first of all," she said when asked about the status of her Bieber romance. "And honestly, what I would love to be printed is that I am so beyond done with talking about that, and him."
The What Do You Mean singer serenaded Selena just days before they both attended the American Music Awards, but Selena insisted it wasn't an awkward evening after the impromptu singing session went public.
"I don't alter my life because of what people are going to talk about," she added. "If I go and have a great time, I live my life and nothing is going to dictate how I feel unless I let it."
Selena's latest album, Revival, features a number of songs about relationships, including Same Old Love, and many listeners have speculated the tracks are about her time with Justin.
"I understand that," she admitted. "It's a song about a cycle, a cycle that people understand. It drives you mad, but it's beautiful. People have seen most of the choices that I've made in my life. And I love every choice that I've made. Because now I understand how to apply that to my music. This is who I am. I'm glad my life was never perfect."
Justin also seems to have moved on from the relationship - he posted a picture of himself kissing model Hailey Baldwin on Instagram on Sunday (03Jan16). The new couple rang in 2016 together in Anguilla.
