According to US entertainment website TMZ, lawyers are believed to have issued a cease and desist letter to the unnamed creator after the picture surfaced on the internet.
A spokesperson for the singer and actress said: 'The alleged photo of Selena Gomez is absolutely not her. Selena’s family is pursuing all available remedies to deal with the offender.'
