Seth Lakeman single and tour

Seth Lakeman, the West Country born singer songwriter, is set to round off what has been a great 12 months for him with the release of a new single 'King And Country' and a UK tour in February 2007.

Since its release in the early part of 2006, Freedom Fields, the follow up to Seth's 2005 Mercury nominated 'Kitty Jay', has gone on to sell over 80,000 copies in the UK alone, reaching far beyond Seth's established cult fan base, and appealing to a whole new audience.

Having played over 200 shows in 2006 alone, Seth will also continue touring his critically acclaimed, rhythmic live shows in February next year.

In addition to all this, Seth has been nominated in 4 categories in the Radio 2 Folk Awards, including Best Live Act and Best Album, to cap a truly fantastic 12 months for Seth. Winners will be announced at the ceremony on 5th February.
