Shakira has found losing her baby weight 'a little stressful'.
The 36-year-old Colombian singer, who welcomed her first son Milan into the world in Spain in January with her 26-year-old footballer boyfriend Gerard Pique, feels under pressure to get her defined abs back and says she still has a few more pounds to lose before she is back to her pre-pregnancy weight.
'The Voice' mentor told People.com: '[Losing baby weight] is the only thing that's been a little stressful.
'I knew I had to come back here (to the U.S.) to do 'The Voice' two months after I had delivered a baby. I didn't have my four months of maternity like every woman on earth has. I'm not trying to complain, but it's been a process full of challenges.
'I think that our mothers and grandmothers weren't under the pressure women of today are after delivering a baby. My dad says there's nothing better than meat over the bones. So he likes my mom a little chubby. She was never under the pressure to have to get to her old weight -- and she never did.
'I'm still a few pounds over.'
The blonde beauty had been doing Zumba to stay fit during her pregnancy but doesn't have time to work out at the moment.
She said: 'I do Zumba. Zumba has been actually really great for me. Even during pregnancy, I kept doing it until almost the end. Now with 'The Voice', I don't have time to exercise. And when I have a day off, I just want to be with Milan.'
Shakira previously revealed that she didn't expect parenthood to be so 'hard' and though she says he is a 'great baby', she admits her experiences haven't been 'idyllic'.
