Shakira has knocked McFly from the top of the UK singles chart with 'Hips Don't Lie'.
The singer became the last person to be named as a chart topper on Top Of The Pops as the legendary chart show ended its 42 years run tonight. The singer jumped from third place to number one with her Wyclef Jean collaboration.
There were two new entries on the top 10. Madonna enters at seven with 'Get Together' while Kasabian see their comeback single 'Empire chart at nine. Christina Aguilera rises from number 18 last week to number two today with 'Ain't No Other Man'.
On the album comedown, Razorlight hold onto the top spot with their self-titled second record, Snow Patrol see 'Eyes Open' leap from six to two while Pharrell enters at seven with 'In My Mind'.
