Simply Red play Ronnie Scotts

Simply Red made a triumphant return to London as they played Ronnie Scotts last night. Music News were lucky enough to be invited to the special album preview performance which consisted of 8 tracks off the forthcoming album 'Stay', out March 12th.

Amongst the blistering new material was the new upbeat single 'So Not Over You', out March 5th. A jovial Mick Hucknall, with full backing band in tow, played the self-produced album in running order to the crowds delight. Amongst the tracks was the Ronnie Lane penned Faces track 'Debris' which saw Mick accompanying on the acoustic guitar.

Vocally as strong and sharp as ever 'Stay' should see Simply Red cruise back into the album charts with pace.
