Simply Red, one of the UK's most talented, successful and enduring bands, are here to stay. To prove it, they return with the aptly titled new album 'Stay' on April 24th. The third LP, available on their own label SimplyRed.com, is a smooth, passionate collection of soulful tunes and vibrant lyrics, all driven with Mick Hucknall's inimitable vocals.
Written and produced by Mick Hucknall, with contributions from Andy Wright - whose previous credits include Natalie Imbruglia and Annie Lennox - the album was recorded between London's 'Home' and 'Metropolis' studios late last year. Featuring the irrepressible new single 'So Not Over You', it also boasts 10 other brand new tracks. Highlights include: the electric glow of Ronnie Lane's classic 'Debris'; the sparkling title track 'Stay'; the almost autobiographical 'Good Times Have Done Me Wrong' & the decadently romantic 'The World And You Tonight'.
