T in the Park's 20th year celebrations are already shaping up to be an unmissable, star-studded affair, and festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partner Tennent's Lager are incredibly excited to welcome The Doggfather of hip-hop Snoop Dogg back to Scotland this summer for what's sure to be a showstopping set at the festival.
The undisputed king of rap is the latest star to sign up to the T in the Park bill, which also features Main Stage headliners Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers, plus electronic pioneers Kraftwerk and Stereophonics, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Emeli Sandé, Foals, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Phoenix, Jake Bugg, Tom Odell, Haim, Palma Violets and many more, with tickets on sale now from www.tinthepark.com.
Introduced to the world through Dr. Dre's album The Chronic, Snoop was propelled to stardom after his first album Doggystyle debuted at number 1 in the US and sold almost a million copies in its first week of release in 1993. Over the past two decades, he's remained firmly at the forefront of popular culture though his legendary street raps and collaborations with a huge array of acts. As well as being one of the world's biggest hip-hop artists, he's a respected TV and movie actor, the founder and coach of a hugely successful youth football league and now star of his own video game.
With anticipation building ahead of the release of his 12th studio album, Reincarnated, his first under new moniker Snoop Lion, the Bigg Boss Dogg is back and sure to be a hip hop highlight of T in the Park.
