Snoop's WestfestTV will host the news programme, which features the star playing anchorman Nemo Hoes in the weekly episodes.
In a statement, the 39-year-old said: 'I am excited to launch another project for my fans to get up close and personal with me. Being the social media guru that I am, the Ggn: Dogg News Network gives me a chance to be innovative and create my own original programming.'
According to the hip hop star the Double G News Network will cover a number of important issues, including current events.
