SNOOP DOGG has announced that he is the executive producer of a new remix album of songs by Johnny Cash.
The rapper compiled the album, called Johnny Cash Remixed, alongside Cash's son John Carter Cash and Beyoncé's father Mathew Knowles.
Snoop also appears on a remix of the legendary singer's classic hit I Walk The Line on the album which features remixes of Cash songs originally recorded with the Tennessee Two between 1956 and 1959.
Carter Cash said: "My father made his stead defying the expected and accepted way of things. He set the standard at the same time. He would have loved this remix record.
"While it stays true to the original recordings, the CD touches on undiscovered ground. My father was about staying true to tradition while creating groundbreaking music."
Johnny Cash Remixed is released on earMusic on June 15 and comes with a bonus making-of DVD documentary.
