Snoop Dogg will hand in his mic and work as a handyman in a Californian park as punishment for attempting to board a plane with an illegal weapon it has been confirmed.
The rapper has been sentenced to 160 hours community service after pleading guilty to a charge of possession of a dangerous weapon last month.
He will be based at the Orange County park and duties will include picking up litter, raking leaves and painting benches.
Snoop's attorney Donald Etra has confirmed his client will carry out the punishment, after he was initially arrested in September last year.
He was arrested when security staff at John Wayne Airport in Orange County discovered a collapsible truncheon in his luggage, which he claimed was to be used as a prop on a video shoot.
