SNOOP DOGG has been asked to present this year's MOBO awards.
Organisers have reportedly lined up the rapper to host the ceremony in Glasgow on September 30th.
An insider said: "It would be a huge coup to get Snoop. He's such a crowd pleaser and was a great host of the MTV awards in Munich."
However, Snoop Dogg has been banned from entering the UK after he was involved in a fracas at Heathrow Airport in 2006 and was arrested along with five members of his entourage.
They were cautioned for affray under Section 4 of the Public Order Act for use of threatening words or behavior and the Home Office decided the 37-year-old star should be denied entry to the UK for the foreseeable future.
He revealed that he called on his celebrity friends, including Madonna, Sir Paul McCartney and David Beckham to help him.
Snoop, who wants them to write to Prime Minister Gordon Brown, said: "Hell, I want to get the whole of The Beatles to help me to get back in."
