Snoop Dogg has made an astonishing admission - he wants to play British comic Benny Hill in a movie.
Snoop had declared the funny man, who's fame peaked in the 1970s, as his favourite ever entertainer.
He told The Observer: "Like, the way Benny did it, he was just amazing. Just seeing how he put songs together and comedy and the timing and the sketches. He was way ahead of his time."
When talking about how he'd approach the role, the rapper said: "I'll even paint my face white."
Whilst on the surface there wouldn't seem to be much the pair would have in common, both have come under fire from feminists, with Hill in particular dismissed as being sexist.
Snoop has frequently run into trouble over his alleged sexist and misogynistic lyrics.
Benny Hill was considered one of Britain's best loved comedians, with his television shows attracting tens of millions of viewers.
He died in 1992, aged 68.
