Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles is missing her wedding ring after reportedly losing it while partying in New Orleans, Louisiana on Thursday night (04Feb16).
Solange is said to have misplaced her unique bauble while riding a float and throwing beads into the crowd during the Krewe of Muses parade as part of the city's annual Mardi Gras celebrations.
The 29-year-old, who is married to music video director Alan Ferguson, hasn't filed a police report, but there is an unspecified reward being offered, according to TMZ.com.
The singer and DJ has yet to directly comment on the claims, but she hinted at the lost ring in a post on Twitter on Friday (05Feb16), when she revealed her son, Julez, was just thankful she was OK.
"My son said, mom I'm just happy YOU didn't fly off the float, & that your (sic) safe, & that you still get to have the love you have," she wrote, before adding, "tears dried".
Solange's spirits were also lifted on Friday after receiving the key to the city of her adopted home.
"I can't put into words how grateful I am to be given the Key to the City!" she exclaimed as she shared a photo of herself with her new honour. "NEW ORLEANS, from the bottom of my soul, I am so thankful.... Truly an honor. Thanks Mayor (Mitch) Landrieu!"
New Orleans holds a special place in the star's heart as it is the city where she and Alan wed in 2014.
"Today couldn't have been more perfect," she said at the time. "I couldn't have smiled harder."
The couple kicked off their special day by riding bikes through the streets, wearing white pant suits.
The family, including Beyonce and husband Jay Z, then headed to the Indywood Cinema, where the newlyweds screened a short film about their romance followed by 1970s movie Mahogany, which they had watched on their first date.
Solange was previously married to Daniel Smith, the father of her 11-year-old son Daniel Julez, Jr.
