Sons And Daughters, Glasgow's brightest new stars, are joined in the studio this week by legendary Orange Juice frontman and fellow Scot Edwyn Collins. Collins takes up production duties on Dance Me In, a new Sons And Daughters track and already a highlight in the band's live set. Dance Me In will feature on the Glasgow quartet's first full-length album due for release next year.
The band's debut, Love The Cup, and their incendiary live shows are winning them fans across the globe with Love The Cup already heralded by many critics as one of 2004's best releases. Sons And Daughters embark on a UK tour this week supporting the Delgados and coinciding with the release of their single Johnny Cash, the band's tribute to the Man In Black and available on Domino from Oct 4th.
In addition to the Delgados dates, Sons And Daughters have their own headlining gigs lined up for November. Four shows have been confirmed to date with more to be announced shortly. Full list of gigs to date as follows:
