Overview
The Broadway musical U2's Bono and The Edge have composed the music for opened on Sunday (November 28) - with a series of errors marring the performance.
Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark took place at the Foxwoods Theatre and was halted five times due to technical difficulties, reports the New York Times.
Early in the show Spider-Man was left dangling around 10 feet above the audience, causing the first act to be ended prematurely. The crowd responded by laughing as crew members tried to grab the actor by his foot.
Later on Reeve Carney, one of the actors playing the lead role, had to be freed from a harness, while the intermission for the show lasted longer than planned, with audience members slow clapping.
Earlier this month Bono admitted there had been a lot of problems with the production, saying it was "harder than we ever thought" making it.
