Stephen Fretwell UK dates

You'd like Stephen Fretwell and not just because he has a stock of libellous anecdotes about former boy-band members, an easy-going charm and he'll laugh at your jokes if you kick his shins. No. In addition to his incredible talent, he's terrific company.

Following a rousing performance at last years Glastonbury Festival and a headline tour of the UK at the end of 2008, Stephen then joined Alex Turner & Miles Kane as guest bassist for The Last Shadow Puppets for a series of live performances. With debut single "Run" firmly embedded as the sound-track for the successful UK comedy Gavin & Stacey, Stephen is beginning to get the recognition he so richly deserves.

After his gold-selling debut album 'Magpie' and the critically acclaimed and Ivor Novello nominated follow up, 'Man on The Roof', Stephen is currently writing new material and preparing to enter the studio in the summer to begin recording album number 3.

Before recording commences Stephen is embarking on a small run of UK dates to play new material and songs from his previous albums.
