Right after releasing an hour-long EP, Sufjan Stevens announces a new full-length album.
It's only been a week since indie hero Sufjan Stevens snuck out the All Delighted People EP with little notice.
It was an hour-long, eight-track effort, and he's already announced his next release, an eleven-track album titled The Age Of Adz ('Adz' is pronounced 'Odds', according to label Asthmatic Kitty).
Asthmatic Kitty confirms that it's the first "song-based" album since 2005's breakthrough Illinoise and states that it sounds "nothing like" the EP.
The Age Of Adz will be released on CD and as mp3s on October 12, with a double-vinyl version due out on November 9.
If you pre-order now through their site, you'll get a free download track on September 28, two weeks before the release date.
