It's fair to say that after the four hour musical extravaganza that promises to be the closing ceremony of the Olympics most of London's pubs will be buzzing with some sort of impromptu after party or other ... But if you want to celebrate in style then this weekend long-time supporters of Team USA - Budweiser, along with Marquee events and legendary Vegas nightclub Tao, will be turning Camden's Roundhouse venue into a one-of-a-kind pop-up destination for athletes and celebrities as they host a two day rumpus.
Music comes in the form of live sets from Swizz Beatz, Gareth Emery and DJ Sam Young and no prizes for guessing what the beautiful people will be quaffing from the bar. The doors open at 10pm and they are expecting around 2,000 guests each night to be hobnobbing with the likes of Allyson Felix, Brittney Reese and Jason Richardson.
DJ Sam Young told Music News 'Looking forward to be DJing the Club Bud Tao party - should be an amazing event in a great venue. Doesn't hurt that it is the closing night of the Olympics either!'. Although Sam is as British as a cup of tea, he was the first UK artist to be signed to the prestigious American DJ agency SKAM Artists and frequently tours the USA. Grammy-winning producer, rapper and DJ Swizz Beatz (who is married to Alicia Keys) is also signed to SKAM.
