System of a Down have announced plans to play three UK dates in the summer.
The band, who are strongly rumoured to be appearing at this year's Download Festival, will perform a trio of shows in June.

The group have spent the last year putting the finishing touches to the follow up to 2001's ‘Toxicity' with the help of producer Rick Rubin.
The double album 'Mesmerize/Hypnotize' will be released six months apart, with the first record scheduled for an April release.
"There has been a great deal of upheaval, very troubling times for all of us over the past year or so," said vocalist Serj Tankian. "That has brought forth a lot of emotional material.
