T-Pain: I won't buy Kanye West baby gift

T-Pain did not buy Kanye West a baby gift because he was afraid he'd be made fun of.

The rapper opted out of arranging a present for his pal as he has very expensive tastes.

Kanye's girlfriend Kim Kardashian gave birth to their child named North West on June 15.

"Kanye is much richer than me so I'm not even going to try," he told Us Weekly at the premiere of The Kevin Hart's Let Me Explain in Los Angeles, California on Thursday. "Kanye has no couth when it comes to things like that, so when you bring him something, he'd be like, 'What the f**k is this?'"

T-Pain explained that he wouldn't want to be embarrassed in front of their group of friends.

If he did go ahead with an offering however, he might try handing over some golden footwear for the child.

"You don't want to be that person because he'll make a big scene about that," he continued. "You don't want that."

Kanye's little girl arrive five weeks ahead of Kim's due date and apparently the tot will go on tour with him.

T-Pain believes the musician will be a fabulous father.

"I think it's gonna be good," he added. "I think he's going to be great. If he has the child around enough - and I don't know how that works with flights and stuff - but he'll figure it out."
