Fans of Take That have been left divided after Robbie Williams made his live return to the group on The X Factor last night (November 14).
The group, who haven't played together as a five-piece for fifteen years, performed new single 'The Flood'.
Their appearance was greeted by huge cheers from the studio audience, but many viewers appear to have been left upset by Williams' return.
On fan, gercia82, wrote on YouTube that Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald were “better” without the singer.
“They are the man band and he is a one man show,” the fan added.
Another user said: “OMG.. Robbie's performance was terrifying, hope he will get something better for the Progress tour :(.”
However, many fans have welcomed Williams' back into the group, with steveyjay85 saying: “Take That have once again distanced themselves from all other former boy bands.”
Another fans, Codger, told Gigwise: “I could see how tense some of the guys were, but overall its great to have the guys back.”
Take That release their new album 'Progress' on Monday (November 15). The band are set to embark on a huge sell-out UK stadium tour next year.
