The hotly anticipated new album, Progress, went on sale today in the UK and sales are expected to be high as it is the first album the band have made with Williams in over 15 years.
The band's new single, The Flood – the first track off the new album – narrowly missed becoming No.1 in the UK charts after it was beaten by Rihanna's single Only Girl (In The World).
According to UK newspaper The Sun, music store HMV is reporting stunning sales of the album on its first day on shop shelves.
Some of its shops even opened at 8am today to cope with demand and it is thought 150,000 copies could be sold by the end of the day.
