TAKE THAT will have sold more than one million copies of their latest album by the end of today.
According to the Official Charts Company, The Circus, which had sold just over 990,000 copies by the end of yesterday, is well on course to pass the one million mark.
Oasis currently hold the record, taking 11 days to sell one million copies of Be Here Now in 1997.
The Circus, which has been on sale for 19 days, is now 2008's biggest seller after Duffy's Rockferry, which has sold 1.5million copies since it was first released in March.
The Official Charts Company's Martin Talbot said: "Take That will have to go some to overtake Rockferry and establish The Circus as the biggest-selling album of 2008, but it is not impossible."
The reformed pop group's previous album, Beautiful World, is currently the third fastest record to sell a million copies, having taken 27 days to do so in 2006.
