Take That's recent residency at London's Wembley Stadium has become the highest-grossing gig stand ever. 
 
 The band performed eight dates at the venue as part of their Progress tour in June and July, earning them £38 million ($61 million).
 
 Up until then, Bruce Springsteen's 10-night run at the Giants Stadium in 2003 was the highest-grossing residency ever, with $38 million.
 
 Take That performed to a total of 623,737 fans during their Wembley residency, reports Billboard.
 
 The UK and Ireland leg of their Progress tour grossed a total of $185,175,360 million. The band are currently performing in Europe.
