Take That win best group at the Brits

The group opened the show with a performance of their new single Kidz.

They took to the stage at London's 02 Arena with a mass of dancers dressed like riot police.

On stage, Mark said to Robbie: 'Can I say thanks for coming back mate. Appreciate it. It's a real pleasure for the five of us to be up here.'

British rapper Tinie Tempah, 22, won two awards on the night - British Single and British Breakthrough Act for his debut single Pass Out.

Although he missed out on awards for Best Album and Best British Male.

Plan B picked up the prize for British Male Solo Artist, while Album of the Year went to Mumford and Sons for Sigh No More.

Arcade Fire were named Best International Group and won the International Album award for The Suburbs.

The Critics' Choice award went to Jessie J who says the award will spur her on to go and do great things.

MTV viewers voted Justin Bieber for the International Breakthrough Act award.

Cheryl Cole presented Rihanna with the International Female award but was beaten herself to the British Female Solo Artist award by Laura Marling.
