Adele has been praised for not taking her immense gift "too seriously".
One Republic star Ryan Tedder is good friends with the British musician and has worked with her many times, including on her hit Rumour Has It.
He models himself on the star's take on fame as he so admires how little it has changed her lifestyle.
"She remains unaffected by selling almost 30 million albums. She is completely unaffected in terms of her personality. She is an honest, considerate person with a great sense of humour and a crazy laugh," Ryan gushed to British newspaper Metro.
"Adele has a gift. She realises that but doesn't take it too seriously. It's very effortless. I'd like to go back to work with her."
Ryan and Adele first met at the 2009 Grammy Awards. He arrived four hours early to their first studio date because he wanted to be completely prepared.
The star has previously admitted he was astounded when he laid down Rumour Has It with the singer, as she recorded the vocals in ten minutes.
He is now keen to follow in Adele's footsteps and not let fame go to his head. Ryan and his band are currently enjoying success with their track Counting Stars and much as he enjoys being recognised by fans, he doesn't let it go to his head.
"You are not going to see me w**ring myself out to every fashion show and red carpet just so I can get my face plastered over the papers," he insisted.
"There is not a day that goes by when I'm not completely paranoid that the roof could fall down and I could disappear tomorrow."
