The 'Black Eyed Peas Experience' will enable fans of the group to sing and dance along to their biggest hits, which include 'I Gotta Feeling' and 'Rock The Party', and Fergie believes it is great project for her and her bandmates.
She said: "It's a perfect fit for us. The Black Eyed Peas are bringing the party to the people."
The title ' which will be created by Ubisoft and will be available on the Nintendo Wii and Kinect for Xbox 360 - will take up a similar format to the 'Just Dance' video games that see gamers aiming to win points by matching various dance moves onscreen.
Fellow Black Eyed Peas star Apl.de.ap also explained the title ' which is yet to be given a release date - is "like being in our concert or hearing a video in your living room".
Ubisoft said in a statement: "Introducing the hottest new dance game featuring the world's hottest group. The record breaking, global phenomenon is coming to your living room. Welcome to the party."
Fergie recently revealed the band ' which includes singers will.i.am and Taboo ' have eased their schedules to have more "personal time", which she has been spending with her husband Josh Duhamel.
She said: "We're taking a break, getting more of that personal time, but, you know, Josh and I have gotten to spend a lot more time together this year than other years, which is great."
