The Black Eyed Peas spill the beans on the follow-up to their multi-platinum The E.N.D.
Curiously enough, it'll be called The Beginning and will be released in Australia on November 26.
Will.I.Am said of the title: 'The Beginning is symbolic of adopting new technologies, such as augmented reality, 3D, and 360 video. It's also about being experimental and taking songs we've liked from the past and playing around with sick, crazy beats.'
The first single will be 'The Time (The Dirty Bit)' is due out on November 9.
Much like all of their major hits, it'll be built around a sample from a previously successful and market-tested hit.
Tthis time it's Bill Medley and Jennifer Warne's '(I've Had) The Time Of My Life', the smash hit from the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing.
Fergie said of the song, 'The song is a celebration of this amazing time in our lives. We've been on tour all over the world, and looking out at stadiums full of people who came out to see us - that's as big as it gets. After the shows, we go out to the clubs and meet the fans; those are moments that we have to remember.'
The Beginning will be released as a standard CD, a deluxe edition with three extra songs, vinyl, and a two CD set with 20 songs from The Beginning and The Best Of The E.N.D.
