As if having Morrissey's only UK festival performance wasn't enough, O2 Wireless Festival is pleased to announce two outstanding additions to the bill for Friday 4th July.
The Courteeners have steadily built a huge fanbase through touring over the year but, with an NME cover, a Top 5 debut album, a slot on Jonathan Ross tomorrow and the headliner himself endorsing them at a recent London gig, their star is firmly on the ascendant. The band, currently finishing another sold out UK tour and with two sold out Manchester Apollo shows to look forward to in October already, are the big name for 2008.
The Rascals Miles Kane sits atop the midweek charts with friend Alex Turner as one half of The Last Shadow Puppets but don't ignore his day job. The Rascals have been making friends in all the right places this year and look set to fellow North West lads The Courteeners right to the top
