Overview
The Decemberists have announced details of the release of a limited-edition box-set for their forthcoming new album 'The King Is Dead'.
Released on January 18, the collection will feature the album on CD and 180-gram white vinyl, plus a DVD and a hardcover book.
Each box-set will also include an art print by Carson Ellis and a unique Polaroid photo, which was taken by photographer Autumn de Wilde during the band's recording sessions in rural Oregon and Los Angeles.
The box-set is priced at $165 (£106) and limited to 2,500 copies. For more information, visit Decemberists.com.
As previously reported, the group's sixth studio effort is the follow-up to 2009's 'Hazards Of Love' and will feature REM'S Peter Buck.
The Decemberists will embark on a 2011 tour of the UK and Ireland in March.
