The Decemberists are set for a number one debut this week in the United States with their sixth studio album 'The King Is Dead'.
Hitsdailydouble.com reports that the album has clocked up around 90,000 sales in the past week placing it about 20,000 units in front of the number two album, the kids compilation 'Kidz Bop Kids' from label Razor & Tie.
The Script 'Science & Faith' will come in at number 3, Social Distortion 'Hard Times & Nursery Rhymes' looks set for a first week in at number 4.
Gregg Allman is looking good for a top 10 debut for 'Low Country Blues', his first solo album in 18 years.
Last week's number one album by Cake 'Showroom of Compassion' is predicted to completely fall out of the Top 20 after debuting at number one only last week.
