British pop rockers The Feeling are very excited about their three upcoming Christmas shows as all the band are big fans of the festive season. The band have just released their 'The Singles 2006 – 2011' collection featuring all their hits such as 'Fill My Little World' and 'Never Be Lonely' and are now asking their fans to vote on their Facebook page for which Christmas classics they should perform at their upcoming special live Christmas shows in Bath, London and Brighton on 20th, 21st and 22nd December respectively. We could be seeing them take on The Pogues 'Fairytale of New York' or Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas'.
"We're really excited about the Christmas gigs, they are going to be really festive we've even got mince pies and everything!" said singer Dan Gillespie Sells "They literally will be as camp as Christmas".
But the ghost of Christmas past has come back to haunt bassist Rich Jones now that he's a parent himself he realises just how harsh children can be as he recalls a time when he didn't get what he wanted for Christmas. "I refuse to say what the present was, it's too traumatic and will bring back bad memories for my parents. In essence I told them at the time that it was the 'worst Christmas ever' – how awful!"
The band are working all the way up to Christmas and will start work on their fourth studio album in the New Year.
The Singles 2006 – 2011 is out now.
