The Game had the number one album in America this week, albeit for a few minutes.
HitsDailyDouble has reported that SoundScan announced The Game's 'LAX' as this week's number one album with a lead over Slipknot's 'All Hope Is Gone' of just 13 units. (The original figures had The Game with 238,285 units sold V Slipknot with 238,272).
A corrected version of the chart was published within the hour with Slipknot at number one and The Game downsized to number two.
The new figures show that Slipknot sold 239,516 units to The Game's 238,832 units.
HitsDailyDouble publishes an alternative chart and finished the week with The Game on top. Their tally was The Game at 222,844 units sold to Slipknot with 221,229 units sold.
Apart from The Game and Slipknot, it was a quiet week on the chart.
Despite her embarrassing diva-like outburst on Las Vegas TV last week, Solange sill managed to rally up around 30,000 fans for a top 20 debut.
Jimmy Wayne's 'Do You Believe Me Now' and Dragonforce 'Ultra Beltdown' will register near the 20 mark.
The Verve had a very mediocre entry at 26 with 'Forth' and Lost Trailers 'Holler Back' hit at 29.
It was good to see blues legend B.B. King win over a few fans with his brilliant new album 'One Kind Favor'. He was granted 10,000 kind favors with fans ensuring he will have a well-deserved top 40 debut.
